Frequently Asked Questions

You can book me for a session by getting in touch through my contact form. Simply add in your details and select the type of session you’d like and I’ll get back to you within 24-48 hours.

Your booking will be confirmed upon completion of the session agreement and deposit payment. Keep in mind that I do take limited maternity and newborn bookings to ensure my availability for any variances in birth dates. As such, it’s best to confirm your bookings 2-3 months in advance.

Maternity Sessions:

In home sessions: These sessions can be done at any time of the day. Usually, they are booked for between the hours of 9-3.

Outdoor Sessions: The majority of my outdoor sessions are booked during the evening golden hour when the sun is low on the horizon and the light is soft. Depending on the time of year, this would fall between 4-8pm. If you’re an early riser, you can opt to take advantage of the morning golden hour between 4-8am depending on the time of year.

Newborn Sessions:
Hospital sessions: Hospital sessions can be booked for any time of the day that the particular hospital allows visitors.

Just do you.

You’ve been growing a tiny little human inside of you for the last 7-9 months. That’s tough work! I don’t want you to be uncomfortable during your maternity session, so your outfit is always up to you. I recommend something simple but, most importantly, comfortable.

If you’ll be involving your partner and other children in the session, try not to go overboard with matching outfits. Soft and neutral tones work best and you want to avoid solid black items of clothing. And ideally, you want to avoid any large branding or logos as they distract and take away from the photo.

Just like maternity sessions, you want to choose something that’s very you, and comfortable.

As for your little one, if you’ve got an outfit you’d like to be included in the photos, just make sure you have it ready. Throughout the session we’ll swap between an outfit, wraps, bare skin etc. I do bring along many different wraps, sheets and blankets to use as well. I do offer a range of printed products to let you touch and see your stories and moments for years to come. These include flat lay albums, matte prints on premium quality photographic paper, and my handmade torn edge prints. These can be discussed when you contact me to enquire about booking a session.
